Our Offices
Headquarters
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has its headquarters based in Suva. The headquarters has three sub-divisions: Serious Fraud, Sexual Crimes Division, the General Crimes Division and the Appeals Division. The Corporate Section, Registry, Information Technology and the Library and Media sections are also based at the headquarters.
Ten Offices around the Country
The ODPP has ten offices around the country with its headquarters, based at Gladstone Road, Suva.
We have one office in Nasinu and one in Nausori. There are five offices in the Western Division; Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba and Rakiraki. There are also two offices in the Northern division; Labasa and Savusavu.
Overall, the principal role of each divisional office is to assist the DPP in the deliverance of a fair and independent prosecution service, committed to the rule of law.
Ultimately, our role is to ensure that all criminal cases in every part of Fiji are prosecuted in accordance with law and sound prosecution principles, in a timely manner.
